On Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm ET, the State Data Resource Center (SDRC) will host a webinar focusing on the Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0 Assessments data set, which is a health status screening and assessment tool used for all residents of long-term care nursing facilities.
The webinar will include a description of the available data elements, an explanation of the improvements from the MDS 2.0 data set, and examples of potential use cases to support your state’s dually eligible population. Additionally, SDRC will review relevant literature that exists around using the MDS 3.0 data set to analyze readmissions rates for common chronic conditions and offer SAS code to assist states in analyzing long-term care readmission rates in the dually eligible population. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
