The National Center for Farmworker Health will lead a webinar targeting cultural literacy and understanding patient country of origin to improve diabetes prevention and self-management efforts. This webinar will be part one of a 3-part webinar series. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn strategies on addressing patient language barriers, cultural differences, and other barriers to adequately manage diabetes health care. Attendees will also gain a deeper understanding of the correlation between health care and patient cultural identity and ways to address the two together.
