Helping people remain stably housed plays an important role in addressing the growing numbers of people experiencing homelessness. One housing stability strategy is home accessibility. Home accessibility is multi-faceted and can be supported with home modifications, assistive technology, and changes in behavior.
Join the Housing and Services Resource Center (HSRC) to explore how cross-sector partnerships can help to sustain services and programs that support accessible and stable housing for older adults and people with disabilities.
Through this webinar, participants will:
- Hear firsthand experiences from home accessibility partnerships in North Carolina and Tennessee.
- Learn about two new home modification action guides for professionals and how to use them to build and sustain cross-sector partnerships.
- Understand how to sustain those collaborative activities, including integrating them into existing organization operations.
- Identify ways to evaluate program impact and use data to make the case for funding and expanding services.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. The webinar will include real-time captioning and ASL interpreting. If you need additional accommodations, or if you have questions, please email HSRC@acl.hhs.gov.
