Integrated Care in Action Podcast: Foundations of Motivational Interviewing

This episode explores how providers, including care managers and community health workers, can use motivational interviewing to engage clients in a wide variety of settings—behavioral health care, primary care clinics, and communities. This episode features The Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers, a non-profit organization based in Camden, New Jersey, which brings together healthcare providers, community partners, and advocates who are committed to elevating the health of clients with complex health and social service needs. The coalition practices whole person care by considering clients’ physical, behavioral, and socioeconomic needs, and provides coaching, teaching, and training to communities across the county on its underlying care philosophies and methods.
