Disability professionals webinar hosted by Elsevier, with the University of Minnesota.

Join Megan Sanders from the University of Minnesota’s Institute on Community Integration as she summarizes the results of a 12-month follow-up survey on the direct support workforce and their experiences supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Approximately 5,400 direct support professionals (DSPs) and frontline supervisors from across the country completed this survey.

The initial survey in April 2020 and a six-month follow-up survey were each completed by approximately 9,000 respondents, making this the largest study ever conducted on the direct support workforce.

Come learn what the data has told us and hear recommendations to strengthen the workforce and keep DSPs and the individuals they support safe.
