SDRC Webinar: Minnesota’s Home- and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Access Project

On Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 3:00-4:00 pm ET, the State Data Resource Center (SDRC) will host a webinar on Minnesota’s Home- and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Access Project.

Minnesota state staff will present on the Home- and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Access Project, a statewide effort to establish quantifiable indicators of HCBS access to identify and address existing disparities. One primary goal of Minnesota’s HCBS Access Project is to demonstrate that increased HCBS access results in decreased institutionalization and improved health outcomes. The presentation will include a discussion on indicator development, key activities, and the use of SDRC data available to state Medicaid agencies. Additionally, Minnesota staff will review the interactive dashboard they developed for Minnesota Department of Human Services staff members. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
